Anything but blogging

Really not in the mood of blogging during the past or almost passed one yr. To some extent, you can say that I'm already out of the blogging phase which was started when I was still in China and ended one yr ago. I cannot say that I did nothing during the past yr, all I can say is I probably did everything, which I am not able to remember now, but blogging.

The annoying part of a human being is not having a weak memory but keeping thinking even noticed that he wasn't able to recall it, or even worse, understood that it wasn't worth thinking at all. That's the merit of blogging if it has some positive side.

2 months' effort

I didn't even touch this site for about 2 months. And during these two months, no satisfying or stimulating achievement was ever reached although a lot of effort had been made day and night. Its not time to blame anyone now, the way out of this is obvious, but not easy. However, whats the phrase says? Life is not easy!
Several steps I should concentrate on in the near future are :
1. compile the required data for the Q-\gamma space as soon as possible;
2. try to rethinking about the newly introduced factor $f_{UV}$; and thats the basis in order to modify the parameter Q and scaling E_{in};3. there's a willing to squeeze a post out of my mind for the albums Ive heard this months which includes Desert Chang's My dear, I dont know yet, Bear Babes' 03:53 , Little Air Port's best collection and Su-Yang's Xian Liang(able and virtuous ?)
4. reply several emails which should be answered long time ago....
5. Its really time to diminsh the time spent in front of the computer screen, and better use it on the calligraph trainning or book reading.. oh my , i haven't done those lovely things for years!
6....too many stuff has been listed here, i'd better stop right here and start carrying out from the beginning...

Paprika

An amazing anime I have ever seen. I like the flow-like transition between dream and real life in that movie, I love paprika and several other major characters; I admire the colorful, unimaginable , and sometimes terrific and somber pictures they drew in that movie. Now, listenning to the OST of Paprika, I have almost finished this post. Let me add a pic for it.

The Late Post

Since woodhead told me that Andrew Bird had a new album come out, two months just passed without making a sound. I recalled it at this Sunday night after a two-hour badminton excercise, one-hour cooking, and one-hour dinner. Piero Scaruffi listed it as one of the best in year 2007, though there's still six months aheah. Slowly, I remmembered that I've tried to find some mp3 files from that album with slsk and finally falied. The only song I heard is the free mp3 named Heretics provided on Bird's offical website. Without getting any sound tracks after great efforts, the most interesting I could see and say is the beatiful and symbolistic cover picture from Lynne Roberts-Goodwin. Bad Bird #7 in his photographs Landing is chosen here. The birdie has graceful dark-light pattern on its furs and feathers, whose left-leaned body is connected with a upright head and neck. But the most attractive point in this picture is only the back of the bird is photographed, and I should admit, it is also a brilliant idea. The line of sight is not going to end on the surface of this picture, but curved, rotated and accelerated toward the front of the bird, toward the deep inside of the picture. Meanwhile, you will not feel too upset after failure in digging the meaning beneath the 2-dimension surface, the back of the birdie still emits lots of light, which warms you, calms you and tease you.

milestone

The used car I bought in the beginning of this month has just gone through 66,666 miles around 10 am this morning. It obtained the glimpse when I was waiting behind the intersection between Charles St and Northern PKWY. I could have taken a picture with my cellphone, however, by unknown reasons, the numbers, which is regarded as good fortune in China mainland, disappeared from the center of that snapshot. It is unbeilevable!

Growning up is a dangerous thing. Since you are aware and afraid of various of dangers, the world is no longer a safe and peace cradle in your childhood. And you also learn and experience throngs of pain, which attenuate the happiness that has already faded away.

Thursday Morning

Every excited movement and diturbing nerves finally went away. The things could be done was done, and the things could not be done was left behind. In the late morning, it is not a quite interesting thing to sit in the office alone, however I am not expecting the coming Friday also.

The great litterateur and thinker Lin Yu-Tang tried to describe a little bit of the behavior of chinese in one of his book, but I found he was totally lost when he started expressing how distinct it was compared to that of western people, and how changeful it was under certain circumstance. The latter, as I doubted, was at the very dangerous vicinity of capriciousness. Even some arguments he made tens of years ago were no longer seemed convincible. I did not see how leisured the way chinese chose to live, on the other hand, I could easily find out here, in america, how people enjoyed their free time and weekends leisurely. Many questions could be posed on this point, like is the apparent an reasonable indicator of their thoughts? What did the change to their lives? Are their lives ever changed? It seems to me that every measurement or estimate imposed on the chinese can not be quantitative, and I have not seen any profound comments on it till now.
